Mark Workshop South is a unit that will belong to the Army Staff from 1/1 2026. We perform maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment, air base equipment, and provide technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adjustments, and material investigations. The Mark Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements.
You will belong to Mark Workshop South, which operates in Revingehed, Ronneby, Karlskrona, and Tofta, together we are about 170 employees. We are in an expansive phase – do you want to join us and grow?

Main Tasks
As a welder, you will mainly work with construction, manufacturing, repair, and maintenance, but also various tasks on the Armed Forces' equipment and material systems, such as vehicles, combat vehicles, generators, containers, etc. The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modifications and renovations based on established documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- At least completed and finished two- or three-year high school with a focus on workshop technology or mechanical engineering or other equivalent education, or competence acquired through work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- Experience from workshop-related work, preferably as a welder, or equivalent experience that the employer considers equivalent.
- Computer skills, we work with digital platforms for troubleshooting, documentation, time tracking, and workshop production.
- Driver's license at least class B.

As a Welder, you are structured, determined, and make correct assessments and priorities. We are looking for someone who is meticulous and well aware of goals and quality standards. Furthermore, you are flexible and can easily shift your focus and adapt in a changing environment with varied tasks.

Meritorious
- Experience and knowledge of workshop operations and material maintenance in the Armed Forces.
- Experience in mechanical work and vehicle repair.
- Valid welding test certificates in relevant methods, methods such as 131/135, 141, and 111.
- Knowledge in machining (turning/milling, etc.).
- Forklift/wheel loader training.
- Travel training.
Other
Employment type: permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment rate: full-time, daytime - shift work may be applied.
Work location: Revingehed.
Start date: as soon as possible by agreement.
The work also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally.
The position is a civilian position. Work with thermosetting plastics occurs at the Mark Workshop.
As a welder in the Armed Forces, it is expected that you, as an employee, have a valid MKA, Medical Controls in Working Life.
